Privacy notice

This notice explains what SILO Supply Co. does with the information you give us when you request a trade sample or contact us about supply. It is written for the people who run the kitchens we supply, so it is deliberately short.

Who we are

SILO Supply Co. is a UK-based food-supply business serving professional kitchens across Berkshire and surrounding areas.

We currently specialise in chilled dough supply, with a focus on straightforward trade service, dependable local delivery and professional kitchen supply.

What we collect

Only what you type into the trade sample form, or send us directly:

• Your name
• Your business name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Business postcode
• Business type
• Approximate pizzas per week
• How you currently handle dough
• Anything you add to the free-text field

We do not use analytics, advertising tools or tracking cookies, so we collect nothing about your visit beyond what you submit. There is no cookie banner because there are no non-essential cookies to consent to.

Why we collect it

• Name, business, email and phone — to reply to you and arrange a sample.
• Postcode — to check whether your kitchen falls within a delivery route we can currently serve. This is the single most useful field on the form.
• Business type, weekly volume and current dough method — to understand whether we can realistically supply you, and to shape what we offer. We are an early-stage supplier and this information genuinely informs the business.

Our lawful basis

We rely on legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)): you have approached us as a business asking to be supplied, and replying to that request — and keeping a record of it — is what you would reasonably expect.

If we ever want to send you marketing unrelated to your enquiry, we will ask first.

Who sees it

The people running SILO Supply Co. Nothing is sold, rented or shared for marketing.

When you submit the trade sample form, it is transmitted through FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a form-delivery service that forwards the contents to our inbox by email. It handles your submission solely to deliver it to us. Data sent through this service may be processed outside the UK.

Where your information is held

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., which processes standard server request data in order to serve the page to you. Enquiries reach us by email and are held in our email account.

How long we keep it

• If you become a customer, for as long as we supply you plus six years, to meet accounting and tax record-keeping requirements.
• If you do not, we keep your enquiry for up to 24 months in case routes change and we can supply you later — then we delete it.
• If you ask us to delete it sooner, we will.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of what we hold, correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, or object to us holding it at all. You can also ask for it in a portable format. Email hello@silosupply.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information — for example once a form provider is in place — we will update this page and change the date at the top.
